Since we actually got a reprieve from the rain today, I went for a nice stroll in a park across the street.  From kids playing on the playground to people walking their dogs, it was a treat to get out and enjoy the warm weather.  I sat and watched the world go by, thinking about the many blessings given to me the past year.

This is my way to de-stress.  Sometimes it’s better to walk away and relax than to stress about everything that has to be done.  After all, as Charles Bruxton says “You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.”.

On a daily basis, I usually set aside some time to read a book or purse a favorite hobby.  Making time for yourself not only reduces anxiety but improves your relationships with others.  But it won’t happen by itself.  You need to get out there and make it happen.
