Last weekend, Imaginary Diva and I attended a wedding for two close friends of ours. And let me be the first to say, their wedding was very entertaining.  We both had a good time!

You can’t expect every wedding to be the same.  Each one has a special meaning or aura surrounding the event. Some couples prefer a different approach, like a beach wedding, while others take a more traditional route in relation to their culture, religion, etc.

Rest assured, the beginning of this wedding started as a happy affair. Bride and Groom were fixed with a constant smile as the priest finally announced them as “Man and Wife”.  The audience cheered and blew bubbles as our Bride and Groom walked up the aisle.

The reception was a joyous time as our party enjoyed an open bar and packed dance floor.  Alcohol was flowing into our bloodstreams, further eating away any notion of rational thoughts or suppressed emotions.

After witnessing the constant preparation involved with this event, Imaginary Diva and I are very grateful our wedding was simple and quick.  Since we work at home and manage our businesses, the preparation for a decent sized wedding would take up too much of our time.

Overall, the wedding was a very positive experience.  And I know our newly married couple will live a fruitful life as Husband and Wife.

Summer has finally arrived in Southwest, British Columbia.  After a rough Winter and Spring, along with countless periods of rain, our area will finally experience the first heat-wave of the year.

Maybe I’ll sit around the patio today, while watching the park across our street or perhaps I’ll go mountain biking on my favorite single track trail. 

Time to get off my computer so I can get out and enjoy the sunshine!
