Less than a week from now I’ll be celebrating Christmas by handing out presents to family and loved ones.  As you probably already know, I finished my Christmas shopping early this year to avoid all those crowds at the shopping mall.

Like most people who celebrate Christmas, I’ve also had my fair share of interesting presents over the years.  From used handkerchiefs to broken candles, I simply chuckle at the fallacies pertaining to gift giving while remaining humble to the giver.  And of course, with every present I receive a big “thank you” is expressed all the time.

My heart constantly reminds me that Christmas is more than just the season of giving.  Whether I receive any presents or not is pretty irrelevant, the presence of family and loved ones is all that really matters to me during this special time of the year.

And No, I won’t be lining up overnight for any Boxing Day sales. ;-)
