My Take On “Making Money Online”

I have plenty of friends who’ve become very successful at making money online.  From blogs to eCommerce websites, there‘s a myriad of revenue opportunities to help you reach financial independence.  Sure, earning a full-time income (or more) may seem like a good idea but making money online still requires a high level of dedication, focus and planning.

As a self-employed individual, I am always on the lookout to expand my online businesses.  Yours truly continues to learn and master techniques when it comes to auction management & eCommerce.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to be surrounded by REAL individuals who make a successful living online.  Their influence has allowed me to enjoy the fruits of my labor, where I can live a lifestyle and pursue activities that could otherwise not happen if I was working a full-time job.

There are plenty of resources to make money online.  And despite what these websites may claim, use your better judgment to determine if a source is credible or simply full of steam.  Ask plenty of questions and take the time to meet up with people who’ve actually reached a level of success.  I know way too many Dot-Com-Posers who still live with Mommy & Daddy, while claiming to be a master at banner placement, Google adwords, etc.  Mind you, I’ve angered my fair share of these posers due to their short sightedness and lack of credibility.

Anyone can be successful at making money online.  By using your common sense and willingness to expand on ideas, you can also strike that pot of gold on the World Wide Web.

Mario Galaxy - 16-Bit Style

The groove is very funky. A great vibe for video game junkies.

It’s Valentines Day today.  And like every year, full blooded males from all over the world will cringe at the thought of emptying their wallets and bank accounts.  Evidently, it is our duty to purchase those overpriced flowers and a romantic dinner for two at a fancy 5-star restaurant.

To make matters worse, we also have to deal with traffic infested roads because every other love bird wants to go out for dinner during the evening.

Oh, did I forget to mention that Valentine’s Day card?  Does it ever surprise you how overpriced those cards have become?  I might as well grab a bunch of crayons, a piece of paper and make a card for myself.  Sheesh….

BTW, I am only joking.

I am so grateful to have a loving Wife.  Since this is our first Valentine’s as Husband and Wife, I planned something very special for Imaginary Diva.  In fact, we’ll be having dinner at the very first place we met.  If you really want to know, we met four years ago; a moment in time that seems almost like yesterday.

I also hope you have a great Valentine’s Day.  Just remember to keep safe.  And try not to argue during that romantic dinner. ;-)

Pictures From My Childhood

I decided to post some of my favorite pictures today.  Since I hardly talk about my family on this personal blog, it would be a lot more appropriate to display images that reflect my appreciation and gratitude after all these years.
