Unless a Super Sale is happening right now, I try my best to stay away from shopping malls or popular retail stores.  I simply enjoy the peace and comfort that online shopping provides.  Since I’m always on the lookout for a good deal, online shopping saves me a lot of time and, of course, money!

Here are my favourite places to shop online:

1. eBay - Nothing beats the thrill of winning an auction or buying an item at a very good price.  eBay is definitely my first choice to find a great deal.
2. CafePress - If you like original designs or clothing based on a particular theme, CafePress will keep you busy with their huge selection.  This is where I sustain my fetish toward interesting shirts.
3. ThinkGeek - Stuff for Smart Masses.  Grown up toys for Geeks.
4. TheNerds.net - The Best Deals on all of your Electronic Needs!
5. eBooks.com - Download an eBook today.  Save paper and space by keeping your books stored within a computer or electronic book.

Can you imagine Human fat as a renewable energy source?  It may be closer than you think.  Earthrace, a 78 foot speedy Eco-Boat, will attempt to sail around the world by using only 100% biofuel.  To demonstrate their dedication for cleaner fuel alternatives, the owners underwent liposuction to produce biofuel for the trip.  This not-for-profit project aims to cause awareness with alternative fuels and cleaner energy solutions.

More Geek Speak for today.  We all know that Macs (or shall I say everything else produced by Apple) come with a hefty price tag. 

There’s no reason to pay 50% more for a Mac, especially when you can find similar PC’s for a much lower price and a lot more functionality.  Apart from their operating systems, there is hardly any difference between a Mac and PC these days, especially since Apple started using Intel processors over a year ago.  Macs may look pretty but in the world of computing “speed and software selection is everything!”. 

However, Macs do make perfect companions for clueless Yuppie Scum who want their living rooms to look good with a shiny computer!  Oh yeah, the same can be said for the over hyped iPhone and iPod.
